I am a senior research scientist at PAII Inc working with Dr. Le Lu. Before joining PAII in 2019, I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from University of Texas at Arlington under supervision from Dr. Junzhou Huang. I worked as research intern at NVIDIA and PAII in 2018 Summer and Fall, respectively.

My research interests include computer vision and machine learning with a focus on medical imaging applications with deep learning-based approaches. I am actively contributing my work to Top oncology and medical journals like Clinical Cancer Research (CCR)/Medical Image Analysis (MedIA) and Top conferences like MICCAI/CVPR. One work is selected for MICCAI-MedIA Special Issue of Best Papers in 2020.

I hold both Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. I was the winner of Microsoft Student Challenge 2012 and awarded two MICCAI travel awards (MICCAI 2015/2016).
